stop dogs from chewing the lead VICKS

I read in one of your topic about how to stop your dog from chewing on lead when out walking and it read rub some VICKS rub on the lead as your dog wont like the smell or tast,i tried it today and wow yes it realy works, thanks again x:applause:

If I were you, though I'd stop using it after she's learned not to chew her lead. It's a very strong vapour and might cause nasal irritation if it's used for too long.

The vicks is great isn't it! Worked on a few things with Rocky chewing or biting

The vicks works great! Gwen hates the smell of it! I also put some on my wooden kitchen chairs that she was obsessed with chewing! It worked on them too but I just had to reapply frequently! Glad it has worked for you as well!

amazing Co-co has always chewed her lead when tied up at the caravan  

Vicks and White vinegar.. the two things that have always worked for me and Zeus when trying to get him to stop biting on things (e.g. skirting boards/ door frames etc).
