Another foster puppy query: limping after sitting down
My foster Staffy x (8 months old) is getting checked by the vet this week anyway regarding her limp.
She seems to have a sore right back leg, or possibly hip (or foot/ankle).
Especially when she's been lying down, she gets up and limps very noticeably: hopping on three legs.
I have tried examining her but it isn't a surface wound or anything like that.
Can anyone let me know how I might help her or look into this before we go to the vet?
I now walk her on the lead all the time although she is desperate for a run. I have only started committing her to lead only for a couple of days now so things may settle down.
Thank you so much!

Hard to tell really without knowing more. Is there any nibbling of the paw ?.. If so, that might indicate an injure or soreness. If not it could be muscular and is probably best checked by the vet.
