puppy sitting (with photos added)

we are puppy sitting for our friends at the moment, we have little Panama (a JRT X Maltese) staying with us for one night, and I better not tell our friends but she has hardly seemed to miss them at all! - slept fine last night, cuddles us, plays with all Russell's toys. She adores Russell and he is all over her - to the point where it's kinda gross, he gets very dribbly when she wees and he rolls her over to give her a good licking too . its funny because usually small dogs don't like Russell and she is the tiniest of all and just comes at him for more and more, they play constantly!



Right now they are playing chasey (panama has a toy and is running full speed around the couch and russell is chasing her) - usually its me chasing Russell and its funny to see him on the other side of the game because chasing isn't as fun as running away! and now he knows it!

That's fantastic and Lucky you. OMG, I was mad enough to "dog-sit" my brothers Maltese a few weeks back and all he did was Yap-yap-yap-yap-yap the whole time. Poor RoXy was put out coz all she wanted to do was play and all he wanted was to get away from her and then stand and YAp-yap.
Never again. My household was turned upside down for the weekend and thrown out of balance.

So glad things went well for you and yours though

ha ha I was worried it would be along those lines, Panama is a spoilt brat at home and I'm forever trying to tell them that they are not helping by picking her up when she snaps at other dogs passing by. Steph (her owner) will have her in her lap snarling at another dog and say "its okay panama, i know he's big and scary"

Ugh! but I think I have helped Panama a lot this weekend by introducing her to 3 new dogs! (my parents dogs and a friend of our's staffy) they all got along quite well
