Any guesses at what mix my staff is?

Hi, I've had my boy two years now. He was a rescue so I don't know his history. I was told he was a staff cross and have always wondered what he might be mixed with. He's quite leggy and super quick so I wondered if there was a bit of whippet in there but I've since seen this cross and he's too bulky. People often ask me if he's a pitbull. I don't think he is but it wouldn't bother me anyway; he's a fab dog and my best mate. Thanks!

Not good with guessing crosses, but his stance on first pic how the tail hangs between back legs reminds me whippet/greyhound. Gorgeous anyway, come say hi to us here

He looks like he could be sight hound cross!

P.S just wondering as he looks like a dog that was in my kennels at BDH - rehomed as "Toby" but originally called "Spanner"

A rescue centre would not have rehomed a Pit Bull cross so please don't worry about that. He may have some GSD about him but I'm not good at guessing crosses either

Rachel - this is indeed 'Spanner'! How lovely to meet someone from BDG on here. I was a volunteer dog walker there when I met him and had him on foster before I adopted him. I'm now living in London with Toby and he's very much loved by me and my family and will be with us for life. Still mad as a hatter but his manners have improved a lot!

I just had his DNA breed profile done and while there are quite a lot of breeds in there which they couldn't figure out he is predominantly Staffie x Whippet! Certainly explains a lot....
