Bald patch Empty Bald patch

Post by peppa Fri Sep 19 2014, 21:41

Peppa got a bald patch right at the corner of her mouth a bit smaller than a £coin. It has been there more the. A month a d I 1st noticed it after she played rough with a golden retriever and they catch each other faces. You can see only pink skin very few hairs and tiny black spots and it seems like the hair is not growing back or maybe it is like when she was bitten under the eye and it took forever to grow back. It's not itchy painful or spreading.
I put seon few times but it makes no difference. Any ideas what on earth is that?

It looks like some of the top layer of the skin has been damaged while playing. The hair will grow back in time I'm sure.

My old dog Pat got a patch like this above her eye after playing rough, it took ages to grow back! We used to joke that she'd shaved a chunk out of her eyebrow like chavs used to, haha!

Not at all! I think it just takes forever for the facial hair to grow back.
I don't think it's worth going to the vet but ill ask next time I go there.
Hopefully it will be covered by then.
