Bile or not?
Lucy (11months old) has started to bring up white frothy vomit, it happens every few days. Once it is over she is bouncing about and eager to play with her little brother -on saying this her appitite has gone down a lot, is this because she is on barf?
This morning she was sick gain, then within 5-10 minutes she was eating off the same dish as Franky.
I'm wanting her to eat 2 meals a day rather than 1 meal as I'm thinking that the vomit might be coming from an empty stomach. Any suggestion would be helpful

Re: Bile or not?
Bo occasionally did this first thing in the morning. I now give him a few biscuits at 6am and touch wood it's not happened since. I think he was so hungry, that's what made him a bit sick (even though I give him 150% of the max recommended - two huge meals a day). Sometimes he was so hungry he'd vibrate and move across the kitchen tiles on his butt whilst he waited for his food. He's still very eager but the snack takes the edge off it.

Re: Bile or not?
Thanks,
Mmm...that's what I was thinking, I tried to give her some meat at 7am yesterday but she sniffed at it then just walked away.
She will have her salmon oil or a spoonful of yogurt with no trouble the little devil- and if I give her a bit of meat in my hand she will eat that! But I can see the warning lights flashing infront of me saying "don't start doing that, your making a rod for your own back"

Re: Bile or not?
At 11 months, I would def be feeding at least twice a day; sounds like he's over-hungry; if maybe he's got a delicate digestion you may need to feed three times a day with smaller quantities.

Re: Bile or not?
Lucy was on 3 meals a day until recently when she kept refusing her afternoon meal. It work out well until the last week or two when she started to vomit. There's me thinking she had been chewing something when out walking which was making her ill.
I will go back to 3 meals again and see how it goes
Thank you

Re: Bile or not?
How long has she been raw fed? They can vomit bile from hunger as they get used to the smaller portions

Re: Bile or not?
I've just looked it up on the calender and Lucy started raw 3 months ago.She usually gets 1lb 4oz of mince a day (4.5% of her bodyweight) but just latley since we have got Franky she is refusing to eat every meal? Mmm... I wonder if that has something to do with it?
