I had to deal with it the other day with Duke, the Ambull we have in the rescue. Never seen a dog go into such a blind panic as this just because he has grassy bum syndrome.

Like the rest of you we have has conversations about eating grass, usually in the lane that we walk along. He sits there with his paying attention face on, gives me a big wet Ambull kiss then promptly goes back to munching the grass.

I think I can go one better than Grassy Bum

Duke, the Ambull that we have in rescue who I walk every day likes to rag his lead for the first 5 minutes after I get him from the runs. He has gone through so many leads that I don't use good ones with him anymore.

So the other day I have him on a rope lead that has seen better days and no longer has a loop on the hand end. As usual he is having fun ragging the lead and trying to get me to play tug. Anything that has been in his mouth is pretty nasty and he is insisting he wants the end of the lead so I let him have it and grab the lead in the middle.

A few minutes later he is walking behind me and has stoped playing tug so I turn round and I think "where is the end of the lead"!

A gentle pull reveals he has swallowed almost 18 inches of lead sick  sick  sick

It was really manky, good job I carry wet wipes with me.
