1. smelly (has been rolling in fish giblets again, discarded by fishermen at the harbour)
2. clever (has worked out annoying new tactic all by himself - drops first ball as taught, waits for chuck of second ball, picks up first ball en route to going after second ball. Result = gets both balls).
