infection or sore?
Just noticed this on Roxy's eye. Does anyone think it could just be a sore or a possible infection? Also, would cleaning with salt water sting her eye and if so any other suggestions? It doesn't seem to be bothering her and she let me clean it just with cotton wool and warm water.

Add on: I think it might be a sting or bite? I woke up last night thinking I heard her screech on the sofa, heard her shake off and then go back to sleep.
What's more, when I went out yesterday they kindly did some gardening for me and took out my lovely shrub - perhaps a twig could have poked her.

Aww no poor rox I think a mild saline wash would be ok Hun, preferably warm as it's soothing hope whatever it is it heals ASAP xxx

Re: infection or sore?
Thanks love. I had the saline solution on standby and she was very good at letting me clean it. How often should I clean it?
They're both due at the vet on the weekend for their m.o.t's but if I need to pop her up sooner I will.

I"m also thinking a paw scratch now - or from her brother playing silly beggars together. It seems to have calmed down a lot with the saline solution so will keep with that and keep watching it. Luckily it's not bothering her.

Re: infection or sore?
Update: vet had a look today and said it looked like a tear but since it's not bugging her that's good. Gave me some ointment to put on once a day and it seems to be healing nicely - just looks awkward.
