Ear Infection
Had Millie at the vet and she has and ear infection here left ear is quite red inside, but when the vet examined her she says she has a slight infection in her right ear too, think she said the vertical canal.
Having a problem putting the drops in , the vet said it does nip when you do it, we try and distract her with treats when doing it, manage to get one done but after that it's a nightmare trying to get the other done.
She is due back at the vet early next week.
Help.

Re: Ear Infection
Sorry to hear Millie has an ear infection, I cant advise anything as never had a problem getting drops into Vinnies ears.
Apart from really tasty treats or holding her head I cant suggest more. Hope it clears up soon

Re: Ear Infection
You could try doing the ears at separate times, to avoid building up anxiety. Once you've done the first ear, try stopping and letting her calm down for half an hour before you do the other one.

Re: Ear Infection
Moo is prone to them, she has one atm! Sorry but I can't really help as it is such a routine for us.....
Is there someone that keep her still whilst you do it? It does clear up pretty quick Xx

Re: Ear Infection
The redness had cleared up from Millies right ear, but when vet examined her she says she still has slight infection deeper in, another 2 week course of drops and another £47.00.
