time to give blood again

i'm doing it on the 9th of may if you haven't done it before get your self book in and do an good deed!!

Used to give blood but not allowed to anymore cause i have had bloodclots and on blood thinners.

Cheers bud, they said it wasn't safe for me case another clot formed.Was of the thinners for a while but had another clot just before xmas , prob on warfarin for life now. So i try buy stuff from charity shops as a kinda alternative. Damn i miss them choc biscuits they ordered you to eat after it

I used To be able too as well but I'm not allowed to now because of meds xx good for you stevo

i hope after the study they doing i be allow to donation 6 times a year

You ever thought about giving Platelets Steve ? You can do that every couple of weeks I believe.

Yes... You can only give one or the other. They take the Platelets out of the blood and give the blood back to you.
Takes about an hour and a half which is a bit of a pain but if they can give me Saturday appointments I might give it a go.. Can sit here typing whilst I'm being drained
