I have a blood condition called thalassaemia. My doctor told me I cant donate blood. its a condition to do with red blood cells

Not too many, just very tired, low or high iron constantly which I cant control, and have to keep an eye on my spleen as sometimes it enlarges more than what it should. Other than that, im all good!

Great incentives for giving blood, I really should do it again as it was years ago that I did. Not sure if I'd be able to at the moment though as on medication?

phone up the helpline tell them what you on they will tell you if you or cant give blood

i hate needles, these nurses does it all the day long everyday :)you cant even feel it

Good job! I have to think happy thoughts to give blood. No problem with seeing blood or gore but needles give me the willys. Can't watch...

can't give blood as I do not want to pass on any alcohol dependancy that I may have  

I used to do it, can't remember how much I gave as there weren't awards in those days. Then I had to go onto anti-depressants and they didn't want my blood any more.
