I got a staff pup help and advice
Hi staffy people, as of yesterday i am now the proud owner of my first staffy puppy! He is just 8 weeks and i need advice on how to introduce him to my chihuahuas! Also about training him correctly (ie dogs kids cat people)
At the moment he is called 'Rufus' altough this may change as my kids think of names toay! He is mostly white with one side of his face is a dark bridle (totally adorable). Last night he was really good and slept in his bed and we didnt hear a peep out of him!
Hes very nippy of legs and soft things and loves to hair pulling!
Anyhow think i have gone on a bit (am exited can you tell!
Thanks to all who read this and any advice or pup meets in berkshire area would be great!
Regards
B and baby rufus!

Re: I got a staff pup help and advice
Hi there and welcome to the forum from me and Roxy.
How exciting
Great to hear that baby Rufus had a good settled first night
How many cats and chihuahuas do you have and what are there ages?
Nipping is very common with pups of that age...........I had a rotten time with my Roxy when she was a lot younger, but with perserverence things do get better.
If you browse the forum you'll find loads of info, and any questions just ask away.
Oh......we luuurrrrvvvvvv photo's I'll look out for some of Rufus shall I ???

you have to socialise him with as many different situations as possible, take him to puppy socialization classes were he'll meet other dogs, kids, young, old people the more time and effort you put in the better he will be
