Stud?
We have a 3 and a half year old Staffie boy who we are thinking of studding (not sure if thats the correct term). His grandfather was a Crufts champion five times and comes from the Crossguns breeder. He is Kennel Club registered, has all his papers and is vaccinated up to date. Does anyone know how we would go about finding someone who has a bitch they would want to breed?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Re: Stud?
Sorry it's not something I'm involved in either but as Steve says before any reputable breeder would look twice the would probably want him to have been shown, how about getting involved in showing first?

Re: Stud?
contact your breeder and also check that they have not endorsed him which means the pups cannot be KC registered. your breeder would know and maybe go over him to see and then if good. show him at shows as more ppl would ask you if interested to use him if they liked what they saw. as kennel name they know there business and would tell you what to do.double check paper work for endorsements first. if none then contact the breeders

Hello, providing your dog has a 'Wonderful Temperament' and he's 'Strong, Fit & Healthy' (in all departments) then CHAMPDOGSCO.UK would be a good place to start advertising him (on their Stud Page).
Their have been many enquiries regarding the dog named SHAROC STAR GLADIATOR who has now become a Champion in 5 different countries and especially due to him passing so many Health Tests (Hips, Elbows, Patella etc etc) therefore, as people on here have already said 'Showing Etc' definately helps. Here's a link below to a photo of him.
If people like your dog and think he's 'Compatible' for their bitch they will then contact you by phone or Email. GOOD LUCK whatever you decide.
