Accidents again!
Hi folks, well nico has had a few bad days with accidents in the house, both when we are home and out. He's always walked before we go out, he's in a routine with feeding, walks etc, it seems that if there is the slightest change in our routines it upsets his, for example, we stayed up quite late one night watching films, nxt day, badly behaved nico, barking, jumping and 2 accidents when we were in, he's not even coming to tell us he needs out when it happen when we are at home!!! Ye steady I had to go out in the morning before work to an appointment, he had been out, done a wee, no poo. I was out for about half an hour came home to a poo! Any advice ? Oh and wer moving house soon so no doubt that won't be easy. I'd like to get him as settled as possible before the move!

Re: Accidents again!
Hay Kell, if Nico is getting enough out time as you say and believe me, I won't go to work till Moo has done her business, very annoying as I can take her out for half hour when I wake up, she won't go, get ready for work and have to go out in the p1ssing rain again and yes she decides to, I have to schedule that in. Although I haven't a garden so does mean taking her out till the walker picks her up midday.
Maybe Nico is picking up on you moving? Clever bloody animals Xx

Re: Accidents again!
When I was working full time Biscuit would always go backwards in the winter because she didn't want to wee in the rain!! She was a nightmare when we were getting ready to move house, her behaviour went so backwards as the house was being packed up etc and she started to get quite aggressive again, she's also extremely sensitive to change in routine! Now we're settled all is back to normal!
I'd echo what Janey said and just make sure you're out for long enough for him to go, maybe teach a toilet command also? And of course clean up with pet odour removing cleaners.. I got a really nice smelling one from pets at home, I just used to mop with it when she was having accidents all the time lol!

Re: Accidents again!
It could be stress related as well. Have you thought about paper training so he has somewhere he is allowed to go inside. I know alot of folks don't like papers but I've used them previously espically when I knew I would be gone for long stretches of time.
