I've been told by a few people today to give my dog a dose of calpol for pain relief?? Can you do this? I'm not going to by the way, I'm just curious! I have some pain relief from the vet

Well if anyone does try it I hope they have better luck than we did trying to get gaviscon, human supply/Prescribed by Vet, down Eddies throat!! He is the master of slight of mouth! It looks like he's taken it but as we step away he shakes his head and decorates anyone within a 5 foot radius with Gaviscon!!! I have never been as happy as when the vet put him on Omep tabs instead! x x

NO do not use it.

Calpol contains paracetmol.

Paracetamol is particularly dangerous to dogs as it can lead to death, or permanent kidney and liver damage which may require life long medical treatment.

If pain releif is needed speak to your vet.
