Gagging and coughing..
Max has been gagging and coughing since he woke up this morning.. Breathing fine, tummy soft, goes to sleep fine, eating, drinking and running about as usual! But when he's awake he's coughing every 15 mins or so, a chesty kinda cough and then gagging and bringing up white thick sputum..
Any ideas? Don't think it's kennel cough, felt his throat and had a good look around don't think there's anything stuck? He's a little thief but I've been making sure there's no food about. He had chicken wings and chicken/bone mix last night but didn't start coughing until this am.

Re: Gagging and coughing..
does sound abit like KC, with coughing i tend to give them some probiotic yogurt with some good honey mixed through as it tends to sooth their throat, but if it were to continue then a trip to the vets

Well.. After throwing up 7 times in an hour and lying in a heap on the floor I took him to the vets.. Kennel cough or a throat infections, lymph nodes all swollen. Brilliant! I swear bug is a cockroach she never gets any of this haha!

Bugs looking after him well.. He's always been a sickly pup apparently, was abandoned with demodex and severe ear and eye infections.. He's still trying to get over an eye infection at the moment! Where as Bis gets grade six cancer and lives lol.. Bless him!

Re: Gagging and coughing..
Thank you lovelies! I don't know what to do with him.. any time gets excited he goes into a coughing fit, if I put a lead on him he just gags constantly! He's more settled after a walk but I don't know if it's going to do him any good?!
