Re: Please can i have info??
Wishing you a Happy Christmas, Ciaran and Kobe!
With a lot of our Staffies, if we don't have authentic pedigree papers we can't be 100% sure that they are full Staffs. I saw my Kuchar's parents for example; dad was definitely full Staff, but I suspect mum was a cross - she was taller, longer and leggier than standard. I don't care a bit, and I have not come across anybody who has not accepted him as a Staff (and I've walked him by several policemen who haven't batted an eyelid).
tbh I don't think Kobe looks anything like pitty. maybe people in your area are hyper-sensitive on the subject.
Make sure that Kobe, like any dog, is well socialised and well behaved, and you should have no need for concern

Re: Please can i have info??
I do understand your fear Ciaran, I think many of us with unpapered dogs have felt a twinge now and again. Firstly, I would advise you NEVER to ask people if they think there is pitbull in your dog! (Your first post made me suspect that maybe you have). Secondly, if anyone asks if Kobe has pitbull in him just say no, no way. Pfft, the very idea. And thirdly, go out of your way to make sure that no-one has EVER has any reason to complain about your dog for whatever reason.

Most people don't know what a pit bull is in this country! I get it all the time and Biscuit is clearly a staff x. You wouldn't go to jail but your dog would either have to be registered/neutered/tattooed an muzzled in public or PTS. Missed your photo, could you upload another one to this thread? I've had pit bull ID training at work and have worked with lots of them, so have a vague idea of what I'm looking at x

Just had a look through threads, as Saz has said he can't legally be tested until 9 months anyway, but doesn't look at all type to me at this age.

He doesn't look Pit Bull to me. I get it with Lily cos she is a big girl. I think it usually down to ignorance

Re: Please can i have info??
He certainly looks nothing like a pitbull, just tell people he's a staffy X and that's it, it's something i get all the time especially with Chance as most people have never heard of an american bulldog!
