Hi ya Jez, welcome to the forum from Flo and me
In relation to your first query, Staffies come in all shapes n sizes especially if they aren't pure bred. My Flo is also about 18 kg and I think she has a small head too, especially compared to other Staffies.
As for losing hair around the eyes, I can't really offer any advice as its not something I've come across sorry, but I would be inclined to trust the vets opinion.

Hi thank you
I can't see his ribs I think it might be me worrying to much we have been used to him growing over the last year but the last 3-4 mouth he seems to not got any bigger and only put a few kg since I last weighed him but he doesn't look as if there is anything wrong he looks fit and healthy and the vet said last week he was so its probably first time staff fatherhood LOL

The opposite here - Chaos has a huge head, but he's not a full staff.
I don't know about the skin thing. I'd go with what the vet says and see how Marley responds.

Thanks I will give it a month or so see how he goes but I was looking on some of the other notice boards and some posts talked about hay fever but didn't think that would apply through the winter
