Grass eating !!!

Just wanted to see if there was anyone else out there who own's a staffy who loves (and i mean LOVES) to eat grass... when we take Inca out for her daily walk she will nit pick at grass as she's walking past it.. and when we take her to her favourite massive big field for a run around, she just pegs it off & flips over on her back an munches some grass while lying there !!!! Strange i know hey ... She used to just rip the heads of Dandelions but has grown outta that and just plucks a few blades of grass and eats em !!!

Is she weird or normal ha !!

Normal guessing you've not experienced a grassy bum!! (pulling it out of there bum yourself!!!)

Prince has done this as well. I was always told they eat grass if they have an upset tummy, but he seems fine to me.
But yea, he will walk a bit with his head down on the grass, then roll around in it and chomp on some.
He's only done it three times since we had him (Monday).

Jethro has eaten grass all his life on and off.. we have 2 sheep and we always say he has been a round them too long, and he thinks he is one!! Mind you I have already seen Winston pulling at the grass and eating it too!

mine does it as well he was helping me dig mother in laws veg patch the other day
and he love wood as well

in the spring and summer my dog tranform into sheeps

Harry loves the spring grass, and yes I do have the problem of pulling it out the other end

Oh yes grassy bums lol. If we have been walking around a old straw field, Paris and Tyson still munch away and its worse out the other end! My boyfriend can always tell where we have been walking.

All the time, she also loved de-headding dandilions and daisys and eating them.

Sophie eats grass every chance she gets and yes we have experienced a grassy bum.

my 2 eat grass to think their more herefordshire bull - terriers than Staffordshire bull-terrier lol and i do even have to do the grassy bum thing eww..

Thank god she is normal ( well as normal as staffys are !!) but loved the way the thread changed from 'yeh my dog eats grass aswell' .. to 'av you experienced the grassy bum' .. So for your info 'Yes' i av experienced it an to say i give 0/10 ( or even -1/10 when she wont stay still an tries to walk of half way through !) .. Oh the joys of being a dog lover eh !!!

Hope she appreciates the things i do for her.. I will even spoon feed her when she gets fed up of eating outta her bowl ... I know your all laughing at me but if my dog is happy & content, then i am XX
