Re: Eating grass
Be warned for the old grassy bum, if you haven't had it yet you will do!
Try and discourage it, they can't digest grass and it can block them up. Mine suits her name Moo, she is forever trying to munch it

Re: Eating grass
Tinkerbell doesn't normally eat grass she much prefers cat poo
But since she hasn't been well she is eating the grass out in the garden to make herself sick!

Re: Eating grass
This a bit of a 'hobby horse' for me. Eating a bit of grass doesn't do any harm (apart from when you have to pull it out of their backsides!), but eating a lot of grass is a big no-no!
They can't digest it, and it sort of sits in the stomach & forms a heavy mass which then starts to give off gas. The gas builds up & the dog gets bloat, which in turn can be fatal. Been there, done that, although luckily it wasn't fatal!
If your dogs starts to eat a lot of grass you may need to pay a visit to the vet.

This has me a bit worried! I think he eats too much for my liking, everyone tries to stop him when he's in my girlfriends garden! Any opportunity he gets he's munching away like a cow!(He's the right colour!)
He thinks it's a game now chew some grass, get chased, eat some more, chased again! His favorite side order is a big clump pulled up now with roots and soil! I'm forever wiping his mush!
