Can you tell a staffies personality at 14 weeks
Hi all. Me again. Zara is coming up 14 weeks. She is a lovely girl and doing really well. She has bonded with us all amazingly and is a fairly calm little girl. She has her crazy moments and wants to play so I always make sure we play games with her such as fetch to hide and seek her toys. All our visitors comment on what a good puppy she is. Can you tell there personality at this age? She has done so well with the biting and nipping with us humans but with other dogs she just can't help herself at nipping. I'm sure this is completely normal. I just find a lot of mature dogs on our walks give her a little warning. One lady started freaking out at me because she was trying to play with her lab puppy and jumping up. The lab puppy seemed to be enjoying it though

I think their personality starts to come through from a very early age, but takes time to become fully apparent.
She sounds absolutely wonderful, though!

Not at all, 14 weeks she is still a baby, keep the training up and it takes a few years for full maturity, Moo is maturing all the time with different things Xx

Darcy is nearly 16 months in my eyes she's still a puppy, and she nips and bites when rough and tumbling with cousin scrappy although scrappy jumps all over her too and he's 16 weeks.

The personality and character is probably developing at this age and will continue to do so for some time time yet.

Not sure as Bacchus is my first, but I have noticed that he has become more cuddly as he matures. Even when he's sleeping on the sofa beside me he always has to have some part of his body in contact.

Rocky is just the same, if it's just a back foot he must have some part of him touching us.reuben wrote:Not sure as Bacchus is my first, but I have noticed that he has become more cuddly as he matures. Sometime when I ask him for a cuddle he tries to play hard to get. So I just turn and watch the TV. and within 30 seconds he caves in.Kathy wrote:Rocky is just the same, if it's just a back foot he must have some part of him touching us.reuben wrote:Not sure as Bacchus is my first, but I have noticed that he has become more cuddly as he matures.
