Eye infection. Empty Eye infection.

I was due to show Bacchus in our local Staffy Club show on Saturday but he has a touch of cunjunctivitis. I had him at the vet yesterday and he has eye drops which require administering 3/4 times a day. The eye is looking much better already but I have decided to withdraw him rather than risk any of the other dogs becoming infected.

Pity, as several of the staffy community up here seem to think he would have done rather well ( he was to be in the juniour section ).

He's being a bit of a woos ( is that how you spell it ? ) with the eye drops but knowing he gets a treat afterwards seems to be an incentive.Love Struck Love Struck

Personally, I'd still take him and keep him away from the other dogs. If you've already started the drops then it's unlikely he'd still be infectious by then.

They're such babies when it comes to eye drops, aren't they?Laughing
