Hi all my pup pandora is 8 weeks old and we have had her for 3 days, we got her from another state so we never seen her in person before we got her just photos, anyway we were told she was eating a particular type of dry food and despite all my searching i couldnt find it so we had to put her on something else and since then her poo has become really soft but not like water. I am just wondering if anyone has any suggestions ? I am thinking of putting her on chicken breast and boiled rice with some sweet potato as i have read that helps to harden it.
Any other help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi, you are supposed to change over a week or two so that could be why, how long has she been on the new food and what is it?

Dont switch food about too much that is what is upsetting her. Just continue feeding her the chicken and rice (i would leave out the sweet potato) but introduce the kibble again, just one or two pieces at a time so that over a few days the meal becomes more kibble less chicken. If she goes back to bad poo then you need a different brand of food.

As Hayley says it is most likely just the changeover quickly causing the problem so reintroduce gradually so her tummy gets used to it easier , very sensitive little things

3-4 times a day for her age is fine Smile
Also, it could be the food you are feeding, supercoat is not a very good kibble, here is a list of our recommended dry foods if you would like to take a look Smile Remember to gradually mix the new food in with the old over a week. x

Yes, we tried Royal Canin with Nana, in fact, she had "Royal Canin Medium Junior Vet Care", but it was a bad experience for us. Nana had diarrhea with it.
