Mia is now 13 months old, she goes for a walk every day and has off lead exercise for about an hour, also if I go to the shops etc she goes with me so she gets a fair bit of road walking as well. When I get back from the fields after being off lead running around , when we get home she has a drink then goes straight to her toy box and starts playing. With her toys . I can't seem to tire her out unless we go up on the moors and we are out all day. I wish I had her endless energy lol . Anyone else got a staffy like that? Smile

Yep. Ours is one, off lead exercise for same time, ish, sometimes longer.
Comes home, has a drink, picks up rope and goes mad, then she will run around doing that crazy bum shuffle run round the house and back garden.
I honestly think they need more stimulation than kids sometimes!

Yep me too sometimes Darcy will come in and flop down after a drink, but the times I think she'll be exhausted she seems to bounce back like an energizer bunny Laughing

Same here. Two, sometimes 3, good walks a day - playing with his friends so he's panting like a steam engine. Two minutes rest at home and he's good to go again.

One reason my posts take so long to write - I have one hand on the keyboard and the other is chucking tennis balls and empty plastic bottles for him to run up and down the room after.

Please tell Kuchar that, Janey?  At this precise minute, Kuchar is lying on the floor like a dead dog, but I know, I just know, that in 2 minutes I'll be chucking things around the room for him again :-<

Oh that's a poser. Does she just watch the ball/squeaky toy/whatever go sailing past her without interest?

Can't quote on my phone Lynda but yeah
if she could talk she would surely say, sad ya I. Not bringing it back to ya! She doesn't even do it with her favourite rope.
My cousins staff is obsessed with footballs, if there is one about that's it, high alert for any movement!

"Not bringing it back to ya!"

Should have said before - Kuchar only brings the chucked thing back to me in the house, and that's because he knows that if he doesn't I will ignore him and it won't get chucked again!

In the great outdoors he'll chase the thing, yes, but then it's "Not bringing it back to ya!" He'll "kill" it, then leave it where it is. I only pick it up myself because I don't want to lose the thing!

Bandit used to be the same. He'd be out all day, walking (running) in the Black Mountains & he'd crash out when we got home. Five minutes later, if you touched his collar or lead, he'd be up & ready to go again!Laughing

yeah she wont bring it back, Anywhere, ball, rope, rubber rings. She likes to chuck them about herself but if I throw one she does nothing, doesn't even chase it!
Not lazy because she's mental when it comes to her walks

Nope... Rolo is a complete couch potato! If we go out for walks, he will happily play ball and play with other dogs, he's not fussed if he gets one 20 minute walk a day or if we go out for a couple of hours, the most energy he expels is moving position on the sofa. Big Grin

first off i love rolo, hes a handsome boy.

cassius is a nutter, howvere after reading these i don't feel as alone. he's walked minumium twice a day, with off the lead play in the evenig walk. he's panting away by the end of it.

soon as we get home, hes off on one again, no rest for the wicked. children im sure are easier.
