I always use low fat yogurt in curries instead of cream as Im not mad keen on the taste.  If you like your spicey food have a look at a few morrocan dishes as well, you dont even need oil for some of those as you reduce the ingredients down with a cup of water.

Fat free greek youghurt or fromage frais are both good for that creamy effect and I use fry light (1 cal spray) for all my cooking now

Replacement for single cream also try Elmlea which is lower fat than cream.

You may be able to get hold of reduced fat cocnut milk in a can from the supermarket try looking for this:

To make curry use a small pot of natural yogurt (the size that is like a normal yogurt) and then 200g of fat free fromage frais (found in sainsbury or tesco, sainsbury one is nicer)

Natural yoghurt works well from what I've seen. I'd be careful with some fat-free products, as they very often have extra ingredients to compensate, which are very bad for you.
