The weather the past two days has been crazy, one min its chuckin it down the next the sun is beamin so its kind of hard to forget just how hot it is when the clouds clear,
so anyway when I was out today leroy an diesel were runnin around playin an chasin each other with, wat is left off, the kong safestik until they were pantin like mad so I took it off them so they could chill out, after a bit of pacin and sniffin about Diesel lay down in a patch of rather wet muddy grass an then just started rollin about in it like a pig!! It was so funny to watch, she was havin a great time but she was mingin afterwards! Lol
i'm assumin she was doin this to cool herself down?

Nice! Certainly could be, I always take Moo swimming in the warmer weather, and its the only time she will happily walk in any wet muddy bits! I always have a bottle of water (she drinks from my hand) and our long walks have an outside tap

My Logan really struggles in the heat, we had a very sunny day a week or so back and we were out playing all day. He was wrecked from it. I kept soaking him in water. Making sure he drank loads. Made sure he took breaks. But he still struggled.

I think when it comes the the good weather some dogs don't do so well so it's maybe best restricting their amount out in it.

Yeh luckily cause it'd b rainin so much there were lots of puddles they could splash about in to cool down wen we continued on our walk, I usually have a sports bottle of water they will drink out of.

Weather's been like that here too, pretty hot today, but not enough to bother Loki. That does sound funny maybe she was cooling herself off, maybe she just enjoys the mud
