It treats fleas, as well as heartworm, hookworm roundworm and whipworm in dogs. It also manages mites and lice in dogs. Advocate does not treat ticks or tapeworm. Hope this helps

no because it doesn't protect against all worms , best thing to do is speak to your bvet for advice , I use Milbemax along with a few others and it generally covers or provides added resistance to most of the common ones

Same as Dave. I don't use a flea treatment unless my dog gets fleas, but I do worm him with Milbemax every 3 months.
