So i came home this morning to find Diesel had been sick (bright yellow which is weird coz usually if she's sick its white throfy) an she's got loads of wee tufts on her back, it feels a bit like there's wee spots on her skin causin the tufts cause they wont smooth down....dunno if the two are related? Do u think the lumps r mayb an allergic reaction?

The spots could very well be a reaction to an allergy. Do you think she has maybe got a hold of something that could have made her sick, I've been there with Logan myself. It's worrying.

Feed nice simple/boring meals for a day or so (boiled chicken and rice) and a trip to the vet if you are worried. Smile

Sounds like she's had a reaction to something.

Keep an eye on her, give her a piriton tablet, monitor the spots, if they worsen or she continues to be sick I'd pop her to the vets.

A friends staffy had a reaction to a new floor cleaner, covered in spots (hives) and had to have steroid injection twice.

Sounds like it is a reaction to something, darcy has antihistamines because she has allergy's so perhaps try piriton as jackieb says and if your still not happy a trip to the vets. Smile

The yellow is most likely bile. Not nice, but it happens. It could be related to the bumps, in which case, as people have already said, it's most likely an allergy, so you might be able to control it with antihistamines. If it persists or worsens, you could try taking her to a vet. At this stage though, as long as she isn't repeatedly sick and doesn't develop serious symptoms, she's probably just in need of a piriton. Smile

Agree with those above, the bumps sound very much like an allergic reaction to something. Do you have an antihistamine you could give her ?

Knox has had little lumps under his fur before caysing tufty hair - I believe it was a case of "hives" (allergic reaction). We fed him plain rice and chicken for a couple of days, changed our washing powder and his shampoo and it all returned to normal.

They both had chicken filled hoofs for dinner last night an Leroy was sick earlier too - just pure chewed up hoof. So thinkin it was maybe a bad hoof? Ive binned what was left of them.
OMG i feel like such a bad mummy, both my babies throwin up!!!
Diesels lumps have calmed down so must have been a reaction to something, altho i can't think what, i've not changed any cleaners or anything.
Was thinkin either skippin dinner to let their tummys settle or a wee bit chicken mince each? Or would a be better goin an get sum chicken an boilin it up?

Diesel seems fine, but Leroy literally just got up off the couch into his crate in the kitchen and threw up! Sad still all just lumps of hoof.
Dont ask why he chose to go to his bed to throw up tho?! Hes now curled back up on my lap snoring away...

Cooked hooves or raw? cooked hooves can do that or just something that didn't sit right. My guess it that with a little antihistamine and a bland diet today, they will come down and all will be ok. Probably will vomit until all the hoof is out at this point. Something about it is not sitting well. Keep an eye on him for any additional signs.

raw hoof. He had one last week and was fine with it, maybe this one was a big dodgy though or he's ate too much of it in one go..

As others said the yellow is most likely bile, dogs get it in the kennels sometimes! They can get it because they've been over excited after they've just eaten and the bile gets released abnormally into the stomach which causes irritation and vomiting; it's not serious or anything unless it's happening a lot then he could have a problem but as you said it's only happened once and it's better out than in because bile in the stomach can lead to gastric reflux. As you mentioned the lumps, I'm not sure but as others said try antihistamines see if that helps? He could've been bitten by something too! Maybe out on a walk and it's only just shown up?

Ebony was sick yesterday after her dinner too though, I think it's because she just swallows EVERYTHING whole so that's probably why - it came back out basically the same as it went in! Was still in big lumps ect like you said; could that be the problem with your doggies? I hope they're okay anyway, just give plain food like boiled rice and chicken and they should be fine Smile if not take them to the vets (as I'm sure you would! Big Grin )
