feeling soooo guilty!!
Hi all! I mentioned a couple of months ago that I'm going back to work in an office from mid-April. That's coming up very quickly and I'm sure Jelly is ready to spend time on her own, but I feel SOOOOO guilty leaving her!! We got her a year ago on April 7 and I've been home with her pretty much every day since then. We even took on hols with us to the Lake District!
To be fair, she will be with her pet sitter and all her doggie friends there on Mondays and Wednesdays and then she'll have a dog walker come in to take her out for nearly two hours on Tuesday and Thursday, and I'll be home on Fridays or at least one day a week. All things considered I'm really lucky. But I feel so badly leaving her on the days she'll just see the dog walker. I think she'll be OK, but it feels like I'm abandoning her.
Am I crazy? Well, OK, don't answer that. LOL

Re: feeling soooo guilty!!
Jelly sleeps most of the day, even when I am home. We play for a bit, but mostly she snoozes very peacefully on the sofa. We keep her well exercised and the days at the pet sitter will wipe her out so the days at home with the dog walker she'll be happy to get a rest.
I just don't want to leave my baby!!! LOL

think you'v most defo got all bases covered, am sure she'l love the experience of being at her pet sitters!!
I feel guilty for leaving Diesel to go to work, think thats probs why i spoil her so much, i'm just lucky that i work nightshift and she's usually out for the count snoring away before i leave - feel bad having to wake her up to take her out for her last walk!

I'm sure she will fine, I felt very guilty going to work after I got Steffi, but we are used to it now, she knows when I'm leaving and doesn't get stressed out by it anymore

Re: feeling soooo guilty!!
When we got Roxy I wasn't working from home yet and would literally sit at work with a big hole in my stomach, even though I knew the OH would leave later than me and go back at lunch time and I'd be home early afternoon - still didn't like it. What did help was setting up a webcam to keep an eye on her - knowing that she spent her time alone chilling out; sleeping and playing with her toys helped a lot. So it's an option if you can.
It's great that you have the walker and pet sitter.
Be strong! It's not going to be easy - but when you come home each day to the best cuddles and licks and waggly tail, it will make every day easier
