Poorly puppy
This morning Bruno has been sick a couple of times he hasn't touched his food at all and has been weeing and pooing as normal, when he starts heaving you can see his whole body almost rolling and then he sicks up thick green bile/phlegm type stuff, any idea what this could be?

Re: Poorly puppy
Has he picked up something in the garden ?? try him on some chicken and rice just to see if he will take some food but don't leave him any longer then tomorrow morning before you go to the vet if things don't change

Poor Bruno
As Dave suggested, u can try a bit of cooked chicken n rice. Vets for sure tomorrow ASAP.
In the meantime...
Is he drinking ?
Could be a bug, has he eaten something outside on a walk ?
Does he still have usual puppy energy ? Or is he listless ?

Re: Poorly puppy
I'm not sure there's over a foot of snow in the back garden but genereally there isn't anything out of the ordinary out there, though he is still teething so has maybe tried chewing on the fence or something

Re: Poorly puppy
I agree with Dave something simple like chicken/rice and if it doesn't seem better soon get to the vets. I find it's easiest to get Logan to drink if I give him small amounts of freezing cold water regularly and even a few ice cubes.

He is drinking maybe not as much as usual cus he normally drinks loads but he is drinking abit, he is still following us round and has been playing with his chew toys but has come an cwtched up on mine or the b/f's knee although he is quite loving anyway so I dunno?!

Re: Poorly puppy
He is calmer than normal I suppose but still being mischievous an trying to rob the toys of the other dogs, but could still be knackered from yesterday as we had a good walk an he had a good go at running in the field which was hard work for us walking through the snow so must of been hard for him too bless him

Re: Poorly puppy
Thanks everyone! He seeme more like himself this morning but we still took him to the vets he said he thinks it was a reaction to something he possibly ate as swollen eyes are a classic symptom, he gave him an injection to help settle his stomach and told us to just feed him on chicken for a few days other than that he said he looks really well! Phew!!

Re: Poorly puppy
Great news.
Logan did that on me and it was very stressful. But in a few days he was back to normal.
But yes boiled chicken and rice would be great for a few days.

Re: Poorly puppy
Glad he was cool. We woke on thursday and Marley had a growling tummy, gave her some plain scrambled eggs and she was fine after that. makes us feel so uneasy to know our pets mite be sick.
Re: Poorly puppy
Glad everything was okay!! Must have been really worrying... Hope he enjoys the chicken and rice
