Worried!
This morning there was blood on the floor like droplets. I couldnt see anything on him anywhere only a little scratch by his privates, which I think he got whilst out in the wood. But he has been playing outside and it is coming from his one nostril. Is it like a nose bleed or maybe scratched inside it. Any help ?

Re: Worried!
Have you seen him scratching at himself or anything Inez, or is it annoying him at all?

Re: Worried!
If you can't see a scratch/cut, I'd be inclined to pop him to the vets just in case he's got something caught up there, or something that might need anti-bs.

I did notice Mat last night he was stretching on the rug and he puts his paws around his mouth probably to scratch and he did give out a bit of a squeal.MatLogan wrote:Have you seen him scratching at himself or anything Inez, or is it annoying him at all?

Re: Worried!
I was always told that infections can cause nose bleeds in them and shouldn't be too hard to have treated

Re: Worried!
But also, I was just reading online there and as Caryll said, there is a chance he has something foreign stuck there cause the bleeding.

Re: Worried!
I would pop along to the vet just to be on the safe side.

Yeah, lexi had a nose bleed once from running into a wall, as one does. I think she maybe lost a part of her brain too.

Re: Worried!
Just got back from vets and there is nothing up his nose checked everything else and all is ok. She seems to think he has either banged it or maybe had a seed that he has sneezed out and has left an abbrasion of some sort. Anyway she said to keep an eye on him and if it continues then she would go down the route of investigating further. But she didnt seem to be too worried Thank god!!Thanks everyone !
