Re: What have you learned from SBT.com?
Feed defiantly, but also peds and breeding, totally against breeding and could not understand why anyone would buy a dog, but it has opened my eyes a little (still would only rescue as they have an overload of pups). Also neutering, so many different opinions, but hasn't changed my opinion on that either.
I do know I have chatted to many who just love staffs though

Re: What have you learned from SBT.com?
I stumbled across this forum 6 months ago when I was seeking advice for my pup. Not only did I get loads of helpful, friendly advice on my then current worries, but learned so much more - all the above already listed included - which encouraged me to stick around so that other forum members then became my "virtual" friends.

Re: What have you learned from SBT.com?
well for one i have met genuine staffordshire bull terrier owners, who are all a pleasure to talk to. (theres alot of love going on hear tonight)
Food and raw was the biggest things but the list is endless. a lot of things that i thought were 'a must' are actually fiction.

Re: What have you learned from SBT.com?
What have I learned from the forum............... so many things along the way with Rocky:
Behavioral issues, nutrition - how much to feed and when, a little about breeding although not very interested in that side of ownership, exercise - how much, bloat, wow the list goes on and on I really dont know what we would have done at some points without all the help and advice we have gained here, this forum has been invaluable to us.

Re: What have you learned from SBT.com?
Neutering pros, cons, when and when not
Good kibble,
Prows and cons on raw feeding
Added extras (coconut oil etc)
How to make a kong more appealing
Training, how and what works
How to deal with teething
Crates are good, if used properly
It's ok to speak your mind
Somebody somewhere has it worse than you (in a good way)
PUPPIES CHEW,
It's ok to rant
It's ok to ask for help
Don't bread two blue staffs (dilution)my thumb hurts now lol, the list is endless

Re: What have you learned from SBT.com?
I`ve found the forum pretty helpful in advice and dealing with a puppy. I feel a lot better knowing all puppies chew and mouth everything it normal.
The benefits of crating a puppy.
I never wanted to breed Tallulah and the site has made me feel more strongly about it.
