Bubba - what breeds do you think he is a mix of?

This is my parents rescue dog Bubba. We think he may have a little staffy in him somewhere! He is 3 now, they got him at 10 months. The original owners took him to be put down at 4 months because they said he was too big. He was also beaten as a pup by these lovely people so had many issues!









Any one got ideas on his makeup?

Ridgeback, staff, pointer.. Idk this one is difficult

I can see some staff in him I think, but wouldn't like to say what else!

I think Staffy ( mainly because of the brindle ) crossed with perhaps a weirmainer ( spelling?) or a doberman Or or an English pointer ...trying to think of dogs with his height and frame and length of muzzle and ears and there could be a few. It's hard to tell his height but if he is v tall then maybe even great Dane ?

He's most definately a character. The rescue centre said he grumbled over pig ears....yup very food possesive ha! Alot of training put in there.

He's rather tall, prob the height of a lab.

Whatever his ancestry, he may well be a glorious mixture, but Bubba is a lovely dog and so many congratulations to your parents from rescuing him from an ignorant and abusive environment and giving him a loving home.

Don't know what he's crossed with, but he's gorgeous and putting a dog to sleep because it's two big??? I hate people sometimes

He's great looking! I'm gonna agree with Jason on the Staff x Pointer front.

If so, they are both great dogs

Think there might be a bit of Labrador in him too
