crying Empty crying

ive discovered if i make crying sounds and cover my face it drives lola mental! se jumps all over my head and licks me to death till i stop and stroke her........i have no idea why she does it cus esme just looks at me as if to say shut up lol but lola gets proper hyper tail going barking all sorts

If she does that try lying on your front on the floor and pull your jumper or hood over your head and call her! Sid goes mad then and tries his hardest to get me out of it!! Funny!!

Charlie does it too. Most dogs I know do. It's as if they think you are in pain. If I stay down and crying, Charlie goes from sniffing and tying to lick me to whining and barking and going mad trying to get my hands away from my face, I always assume he just wants to make sure that I'm ok.

its kinda sweet and realy funny lol wonder if its a staffy thing cus as i say esme isnt bothered .....

my kids do that with her steve they end up rolling round the floor with her for a hour lol

I think a lot of breeds will do it, but staffs seem to be particularly sensitive to it. I think it's because they're such 'people' dogs & hate to see their humans distressed!

Ok, so mine does it and personally I don't find it funny and I don't think she's distressed, she just wants to HURT me lol!! My fault I know but she clambers on my bck and then trys to dig me out, and its painful! Laughing
