Love to see the oldies get a home, it's one of the things I want to do in life . We would dearly love to give a few golden oldies some pleasure for them last few years , my OH always said no as too emotionally tying and up to now rescue has never been a valid option to us as the OH is a childminder so we would be turned down , but she is stopping and who knows what the future holds. Would have to be a 3rd addition though as I'm never parting with these 2 . Maybe 1 day when I'm a golden oldie myself, bit of poison in the OH lunch and > > >

at Cheshire Dogs Home they have Archie and Ernie, 7 and 8 yo staffs, one i still bouncy and full of beans, the other couldnt give a damn. until you go in their cage with a lead, then he perks up a bit
