Poorly??
Hi all Skye's 15 weeks now and doing brilliant! She's a great dog, today I've noticed her bringing her food up after eating it and her tummy seems sunken in after her ribcage? Her behaviour is normal, walking playing etc,and I've not changed her food or given her anything different.just wondering what you lot think! Thanks in advance

Re: Poorly??
If she's drinking and generally herself it might be down to the weather, i'd just keep an eye on her.
If you meaning looking from above after her ribs her belly/waist should go in

Re: Poorly??
she should have a waist, like i said it should go in after her ribcage maybe she's had a bit of growth spurt and burned some weight off

Re: Poorly??
What do u feed her ?
How much ?
And
How often ?
X
You don't want a fat staffy, but at such a young age the growth spurts are sporadic !
My pup is fairly lean at 5 mths now but starting to get muscular, he has a very noticable tuck and defo 'looks like he goes in'.
So long as shes on a good healthy diet, and u aren't over feeding I'd put it down to the warm weather, it plays havoc with my 2 !

Don't know about that Ella , Tommy looks like he's swallowed a little football and got it stuck in his tummy sometimes

Loki used to be a fat little pup when we got him and now it's like you described, so I reckon it's normal, just down to growth spurts and everything. I'd just keep an eye on her and if she continues with it or if she starts acting weird or anything else is off, take her to the vet

I'd agree with that. Some of them grow quite steadily & the food keeps up with the growth, but some suddenly put on a growth surge & it takes a while for the food to make up for it!
P.S. I know it sounds silly, but don't forget to increase her food amounts as she gets bigger! Believe it or not, that's one of the most common mistakes that even experienced people make!
