Tyson's new harness Empty Tyson's new harness

So I took in some of your advice and got Tyson a Rogz Y front harness. We used it for our walks yesterday and today. Besides doing a lot more rolling on his back on the grass at the park, Ty did seem to enjoy it. He seemed a lot free-er? and was very relaxed. I though I would have issues with him walking ahead with the leash clasp so far back but he staid at heel. He was also very responsive to any corrections I made on the leash. Perhaps that it is touching different points.

All in all it was good although the controll is lousy when he decided he wanted to stay at the park. Hard to steer him from midway down his back when he is hell bent on going in the opposite direction. Also, I am not sure the harness would have worked if he were still at that pulling stage.

Sounds overall good, though. Maybe you could also put a collar on & only clip the lead to it when you need more front end control?

We primarily use the harness but always have the collar as well. Glad to hear it was an overall good experience.

Same with us and Rocky use harness mainly but the collar is there whenever it's needed.
