Poor baby killed by dog

A baby was killed by the family dog, a mastiff x

Usual situation, had been a busy day and the child who was just learning to walk went over and grabbed the dog and attacked when the grandmother went to pick him up. the child probably pulled the dogs fur when the grandmother picked him up and thats is likely why he attacked.

Horrible thing to have to go through. But again, makes the point that you simply can not trust a dog with a baby!

In this case i sort of hope it has an underlying problem so it doesn't go through a mental "mastiffs should be banned!" thing.

Probably more to it than reported anyway. We never get the full story do we??

Poor baby. My heart goes out to his family. I trust Charlie 100%, but I still wouldn't leave him unattended with young children.

The grandmother was there, but she trusted the dog and the baby had climbed on it many times before and it had never attacked. Like i said, i think it probably pulled its fur when he was getting picked up?

what ashame may that little boy and doggie rest in peace such a sad sad story xx

This was reported here too. So sad that people aren't careful with their dogs/kids! Such a sad story all around.
