Re: Busy day at the ranch
Will have some pics next week hopefully , having a drive on the left, a parking bay for winter and visitors up on the right at the top as our drive is quite steep for the winter , a little bay to put my trailer and the rest will be a surprise and all block paved, and I'm nearly 6K lighter

Re: Busy day at the ranch
i know what you mean we had ours done a few years ago and the front garden done that was nearly £10k took us 10 years to save it up. when its done though it will be worth it

Re: Busy day at the ranch
best thing for me is 1 less lawn to cut, we can't use the front for anything and I've always thought our house looked a bit of a dump compared to the rest of the street, we've been here 9 years now and it's a proper work in progress, I'd be ashamed to let anyone inside half the place, at least this way it will be pretty and practical. The lads are working really hard and all on a bank holiday, knowing the right people and having pound notes to hand over helps a lot

This looks like my yard every day My dad is a compulsive hole digger, then fills it back in cause he realised he doesnt need it anymore. He had a phase of knocking buildings down too and got rid of 26 stables

Re: Busy day at the ranch
So back home from our Cornwall holiday today (got loads of great pics of my little doggie and posting today) https://staffy-bull-terrier.niceboard.com/t17156-greetings-from-boturnell-farm-liskeard-cornwall and the lads were just finishing the drive, a few mishaps along the way due to a poorly laid gas pipe and a busybody neighbour deciding to call the council as we were extending the dropped kerb for our existing drive , little bit of design change here and there for other problems, but I think all in all the lads have done a great job and though a few thousand lighter I am pretty happy with the results. If anyone in the Staffordshire / Stoke area is interested I can give them a personal recommendation and Steve can give you my contact details (or you can look at the advertising board on the drive)

Re: Busy day at the ranch
Very happy Lynn, gave them a bit of a free hand as I'm not too artistic , wanted a spare parking place for the winter on the level , somewhere to hide my small trailer away , a few plants and no grass , and that's pretty much what I got. Great to see the before and after pics and we now have one of the best drives in the street instead of one of the scruffiest
