Poorly pup? Empty Poorly pup?

Post by loubop Sat Jan 07 2012, 20:44

The past few days Buddy has been sleeping alot and just seems a bit down. He eating and drinking ok again after having a bit of a runny bum at the start if the week, is he maybe still just a wee bit poorly? Still walking ok and is playing and chewing his stuff, just not for as long then he's just lies down and starts to snooze. It's so hard knowing what to do cos he can't tell me what's wrong!

If he is eating and drinking normally he should be okay. If it keeps up for more than a few days perhaps a trip to the vets.

I'd say that he's had a bit of a tummy upset - you know yourself that it can leave you a bit short of energy!

If his tim's ok now, and he's eating drinking & playing ok then I wouldn't worry too much. If he's no better by the start of next week maybe a trip to the vets might be in order.

He snoozing just now, im wondering if its also (hopefully) that hes starting to calm down when its just me in the house. My dad was over earlier and he was all for helping us with the decorating of the living room, lol! I hope hes not bored of it being just the two of us in the house! I'll see how he fairs the next couple of days and may go to vets if still a bit off! Thanx guys!

Just watch out with regards to the eating and drinking part. If a dog is not eating and drinking then that's a big problem.
