diet
Hi, I have been feeding my pup on complete puppy food (now three times a day). The last week and a half I have been introducing a little frozen tripe (thawed) as I would like him to eventually have 1 meat meal a day. His poos are a little runny and he has bad wind lol!! could this be the dried and tripe food mixed together? any tips please

Re: diet
I think caryll said once about feeding the raw in the morning and the dry food at night because of the different times they take to digest.... Hopefully she'll be along soon because she always has great advice!!!

Re: diet
If you're giving the tripe raw, then yes, it could well be the problem!
Dry complete food takes about 14 hours to digest, whereas raw food only takes about 4 hours. If you mix them together the stomach can get 'confused' and cause runny poos! Try giving the raw food for the morning meal & the dry for the other two meals & see if it helps.
Be aware, though, that tripe will always make looser poos than other meats, anyway!
