Cooper getting neutered tomorrow.

We took the decision to get Cooper neutered, not to calm him down as he's good as gold but for health reasons. I don't want him ending up poorly with something we could have done something about.
We hate the thought of him having an operation but hopefully everything will go ok. I will let everyone know how he is after the op.
He's also getting micro-chipped.

Its a sensible idea having your boy neutured and im sure it will all go well Glad to hear he will be micro-chipped as well

It's a fairly quick and routine op ( not for Cooper I guess) so he should recover very quickly

they showed the op on a tv programm the other day for a male it was done in 12 minutes good luck Cooper,all will be fine x

Sure Cooper will be back to hmself in no time, great idea to have him chipped at same time

Aw Cooper will be feeling a little sorry for himself tomorrow, so lots of TLC from mum and Dad

Should be okay, my boy howled the place down and the wagged his backside off when he saw me but collapsed on the stairs for the night. next day we went for a walk and stopped at a bench to rest him, its now a very special bench that we both stop at and sit for a while. fond memories...

He's all done! Back home and a very depressed dog. We have been out and bought him a new bed, lead, bowl, coat to make up for putting him through it. He did have the cone of shame on but he doesn't seem bothered by the wound so it's off for now.

He will bounce back quickly, I think you'll be quiet surprised. Glad he's all ok

Thanks Ian. He has some medication for some discharge from his nose as he has been sneezing a lot when he's running about and licking his nose all the time. Hopefully that will clear up quickly.
