Not sure what we paid. We had it done because simply because we were have no desire to breed.

Getting our lad 'done' too as soon as he's old enough

Re: spayed
Erm dont know we pay for a special plan at the vets where you pay £180 a year and everything except emergancy call out is covered.
So first year micro chip, spay, injections, heath checks make this a great deal. An even after the first year its saved us a fortune with Molly due to her skin issues.

Re: spayed
I think it's £130-ish at the vets we use, but there's a further discount because we got a puppy package that covers vaccinations, microchips, wormers etc.

is this with a major vet company, like companion care, or is it a private local vet???

Re: spayed
My friends are vet nurses at Companion Care dont think they offer anything like this although I know a few who do locally - I think more vets should offer this kind of thing our vets do a booster for life where you pay £100 one off fee and your pet gets its booster every year still but you dont pay any more and cats are £125

Re: spayed
We have been quoted £200 by companion care for Tinkerbell. Waiting for her to come back into season first though as we missed our chance last time. Think we may shop around though and look at a few other vets. I don't really like companion vets, it doesn't seem personal enough! Would prefer her to go to a proper vet surgery with a better customer service!
