Spayed
Hi . When is the best age / time to have a dog spayed ?
I have a 13 week old girl Skye ,
Is it best to let them have a season first ?
Thank you
Ellie and Skye xx

Re: Spayed
After doing tons of research, I wouldn't neuter at all. To me, the cons outweigh the pros.
However, if you are going to neuter then it's better to wait for full maturity, which in staffords is around 2 years old.

Re: Spayed
We got Moll neutered after her first season. Most def personal choice. We got her neutered as the stress on her body triggered an outbreak of demodex so the vets recommended it. As a negative she is now on hormone supplements for slight incontinence. A big decision to make

Re: Spayed
I have never had a bitch spayed but after reading information on this forum I would wait until at least 2 years old for full maturity.
