woodys lumps
just thought i'd share some pics of Woodys lumps so that others may not panic if it happens to them, half a piriton tablet usually sorts him out. you can actually see them appearing in front of your eyes-very scary the first time it happened

Re: woodys lumps
I wonder what he's allergic to....? I googled Priton and it's obviously and antihistamine in the UK, but I didn't recognise the name.

Re: woodys lumps
We have seen these on Rocky when has had an allergic reaction to something, it is scary the first time you see it but once you know what it is the fear quickly goes.

Re: woodys lumps
Not sure it is ever safe to give our dogs a human medicine. Would always check with the vet as the dosage may be completely different. Hope it clars up soon.

Re: woodys lumps
Steve, I know you are right here and the medications may be the same, but how do you know the dosage ?

Re: woodys lumps
here in Australia there are antihistamines called phernergan and also polaramine ..these are safe for dogs to take if needed for allergies ( my vet told me )

Re: woodys lumps
Blondy gets these their annoying things, but she doesn't itch or anything or seems to be bothered and they go down by the next day or within a couple of hours.
