Lumps _ off to the vets again!
Well Misty absolutely loves going to the vet, unless she's there once a month I don't think she's happy:lol:
Last night I was stroking her head and found about six lumps, her body also had loads of these bumps. They don't hurt her but she is scratching a bit. She's having a reaction to something but I've no idea what. The only thing she did was go to the garden for a toilet then have dinner before they came up, her food hasn't been changed so it must be something in the garden but what's strange is she wore her new harness in the garden which covers a lot of her back yet these lumps have come up even where the harness covers her. Luckily I've managed to get her a vets visit for 10.40 this morning. Poor thing there's always something that happens to her. Fingers crossed it's a simple injection (although she still has a large lump on her neck from the last injection a few weeks ago from the vet!)

Re: Lumps _ off to the vets again!
Well, the vet thinks we are mad. Wake up yesterday and Misty still had the lumps, take her for a morning walk, come home,go to vets. In the vets show her the lumps and they have all gone. Tried to explain to the vet we are not mad and she has been covered in them. Vet said she could see from Mistys fur where the lumps had been as the fur wasn't lying flat. She just said it must be an allergy and to give her some piriton. Well we took her to the park yesterday and she was fine, but the lumps came up again last night. We think it could be something on the bed maybe? Hubby has stripped all the sheets etc so I'm off today to buy a new bedspread, I really hope its not her food as she loves this brand. We have been trying to think what it could be but we haven't done anything different to usual. Hubby did take her to a field on Friday and the farmer was in there so we don't know if maybe he spayed something and that affected her later in the day on Friday but that doesn't account for the lumps coming up again last night? It's very confusing but at the moment her hives seem a lot better.

Some detergents can cause an allergic reaction. It could be something in the field as well. Just try to eliminate on thing at a time and see how she does.

Yes we have thought about the detergent but it's one we have used for ages. Went out today and bought a whole new bed set to see if that helps at all. Also I now think it may be something in the garden, the mad next door neighbor women plants so many flowers etc they always end up in our garden. The lumps are back again now and she went to the garden about an hour ago. The lumps are only on her top, nothing on her tummy which makes me think it's something she's brushing against not lying on?

Yup sounds like it could well be something in the garden. If it was food then you would see it every time Misty has that meal.
So now comes the task of seeing what she could be brushing against and either covering it or pruning it back I guess. Trial and error.

I sympathise with Misty a lot!
I get lumpy skin from this stuff whenever I've been cutting it down and the sawdust gets on me https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hedera_hibernica
Lasts a couple of days.
