that poor dogs face. we can never imagine the fear these dogs must feel trying to fend off the attacks and the pain must be awful. they are scum. these people make you ashamed to be human

4 and 6 months in jail and a ban on keeping animals for 5 years? That's a joke!

Five year ban? What sort of punishment is that?

It should have been 5 years (minimum) in jail and banned for life! Poor bloody dogs.

But if they were my sons Id be waiting for them with the birch when they were released from jail .
I think all the animal lovers should chip in and put a price on these peoples heads and then they get whats deserved as there is no justice or deterant for the scum bags who do things like this

Im glad they were caught. so many are not and if they are theyre not even given a slap on the wrist.

The judicial system is a joke. Give me a length of rope tied in a noose and I would quite happily. Really p***** me off.

A bullet is too good for scum like that.. they should have to suffer..slowly.... I would gladly do it to them !

I expected them to be dealt with more harshly if they were the first to be found guilty here, not much of an example.

What will they do to the dogs? Will they try to find them new homes or just PTS? In the US they have started adopting out fight bust dogs, with a little rehabilitation, they make great family pets and some can even live with other dogs. Just look at the Vick dogs, they've done great for themselves! I hope these dogs are given a second chance as well.

Three were put down because they looked like pitbulls and three are with the sspca :-(

Sadly they will probably be uthinised rescues are so full right now here with rehomable dogs there isnt much chance of finding the right homes out there who could be trusted to take on the needs of these dogs and they are going to be classed of type and thats that im afraid

what a shame they can't put the scum bag 'humans' that do this sort of thing to sleep!!

They should be banned for life they owt to hang them thats what they deserve
