I have seen leads and collars on eBay which say friendly ,caution or no dogs on them . Wondered if you thought they were a good idea or not? If you search eBay for friendly dog leads they will come up.

I woman came onto the site before she said she is the one who makes them and showed them to us, she also has a youtube videos of the collars etc. I remember there were some people who thought it a good idea and some who did not, I think it would be pretty hard to see the collars or the leads unless your pretty close and by then you'v already let your dog near those who's collars say no dogs, I think jackets may be alright though.

I think the problem is that a lot of people would buy the 'friendly' ones, but ver few would buy the 'danger' ones!

I was reading in the news today that here in Australia, if you own a dog that has been declared "dangerous" the dog will have to wear a collar/visible "sign" indicating they are "dangerous".

If it's made law, then it'll work, but otherwise very few people would be responsible enough to advertise the fact that their dog is nasty!

I think a similar collar/leash that says I AM BEING TRAINED would be a good thing. It's hard when you are trying to train your pup to behave, for example when about to cross a road, and someone comes over and fusses her.
