That's what I thought. When I was growing up I had a friend whose family breed Bull Mastiffs and before they learned how to walk on lead they would drag them behind them when they went for a "walk"

I thought that was a bull mastiff sticking his nose over the fence

I'm sure that proper training could overcome but I still like to be the Alpha male I can still remember my friend getting road rash when his dog wanted to go somewhere he didn't
